Butterflies

We have just returned from a fantastic week in Burgundy France. There was no rubbish anywhere & wildflowers & butterflies everywhere. Whilst driving along I noticed one squashed butterfly on the road and another one circling it as if to say, come on get up. It made me sad and I wonder I butterflies have feelings, does anyone know.
