Elderflowers

At our last gardening session we went for a walk around the Walled Garden to see if we could find some elderflowers. Some of the children noticed that the elderflowers are quite similar to the cow parsley which has been flowering at the moment , we compared the two. We then set about making the most delicious drink out of elderflowers which everyone took home to try in 3 days time. It was an incredibly hot day but we also managed to do some planting.

Our next session is on 23rd June from 10-12 when we have a space.
