Grass & Ducks

The children have been learning about grass and how important it is.They had fun finding different grasses around the garden and practising their scissor skills to cut it. Here on the farm we are running out of grass it all looks like a desert.

Although this hasn’t stopped the runner ducks finding a secret place to hatch their

ducklings. This is very interesting as runner ducks are supposedly very bad mothers, so this is our first batch of naturally born runner duck ducklings.

Our next gardening session is on 25 July from 2-4 and 2 August 10-12.
