HAPPY HALF TERM

Last week in schools we were looking at catkins.If you are looking

for half term activities how about going for a walk and seeing how many different catkins you can find ? Here are some examples, can anyone name them all ? If your child is able to use scissors it’s quite fun trying to cut the catkins off the stalks and

shaking them to see what comes off. The best catkin picture or creation emailed to me will win a visit to see our fabulous snowdrops and daffodils.
