It was very hot in the Walled Garden on Sunday but the gardeners were still keen to come and worked incredibly hard. I always hugely appreciate everyones help but it was particularly great to see Seamus who is now 13 and came to one of our first gardening sessions in March 2018 when he was 8 ! We admired the cinnabar moths flying around and talking about moths I wonder if anyone else has noticed their trees being covered with Ermine moth caterpillars. According to the Forestry Commission they don’t do any damage but our trees look horrendous and are wrapped in white thread with caterpillars dangling . Perfect for anyone in the middle of making a horror film who wants to use them as part of a film set ……

Our next session is at half term on Tuesday 31st May 2-4. THANKS everyone

In September 2025 we hosted our third Harvest lunch in the Haybarn. We had a wonderful service in St James Church, where a lot of locals decorated the church in a Harvest theme.
