Mr Mole

Thank you to the large team that came and experienced the outdoors with us on Tuesday!

Moles provide lovely fresh earth for us so we collected some earth from molehills and used the soil for the planting beds. We also studied a real mole which caused a stir as people rarely see the little burrowers in real life.

There was great excitement when we discovered hibernating ladybirds in the raspberry canes.

We transplanted crocuses from the lawn so they wouldn’t get chopped up by the lawnmower and put them into a flowerbed in the walled garden.

The next session is Sunday 10th March. There is a space left.
